Join us for a social with Jazz on a rooftop in Greenpoint.
The Box House Hotel is giving us the grand views and drink specials. Rafael and the Rhythm Ruckus are bringing the live music along with Brooklyn Swings sharing some dance moves to get you started or warmed up. On this wood floor we will have the space to Lindy Hop, the tempos to Balboa, or just groove with the sunset and stars.
All are welcome and wanted to be a part of our Communal Goal for this night.

Rafael and the Rhythm Ruckus IG: @rafaelcashal Dubbed a "comedic virtuoso" by Cabaret Hotspot Magazine, Rafael Castillo-Halvorssen is a trumpeter, vocalist, and composer who has been performing in the New York City area for the past thirteen years, appearing with the likes of Catherine Russell, Bobby Sanabria, Howard Fishman, JC Hopkons, and The Hot Toddies Jazz Band. His own band, The Rhythm Ruckus, specializes in jazz, ragtime, and swing, and performs for listeners and dancers at various venues and events, such as the Back Room, You Should Be Dancing, the Rum House, and the Subway Swing Vintage Train Festival.
